Rodenberg Church of Christ

Stresses of life - stress from the storm, or perhaps financial problems. Or, it could
be not enough time with your family. It might be that you are seeking peace in your
rather than pressure you to do things you don’t want to do anymore. Maybe you
are seeking answers to life’s most often asked questions:
Where did I come from?
What is the purpose of my life?
Why do bad things happen to good people?
Is this really as good as it gets?
But of all the questions that we seek answers to, there is one that is more important
than any question we can ask. “What must I do to be saved?” (Acts 16:30) Being
saved from what? Since we are all sinners, we need salvation from sin. (Romans 3:
23). However, God also wants to save us from loneliness, evil, worldly sorrow,
and pain caused by destructive behavior. We all have these needs!
You see, as we all struggle with our own issues and questions, we must realize our
greatest need is real life. Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and have
it to the fullest.” (John 10:10)
Jesus also tells us to make sure we are seeking the things that will bring joy,
fulfillment and eternal life. “What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole
world and forfeits his own soul?” (Matthew 16:26)
Jesus also tells us what to seek to have real life. “Seek first His kingdom and His
righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” (Matthew 6:33)
Please let the Christians at the Rodenberg Church of Christ help you and tell you
what Jesus has done for us. Who are we? People just like you.
